True Love Lost…

You didn’t just love me you showed it to me
You would have done anything for me
You accepted me for the person I am
You appreciated me and confided in me
You gave me your heart and all that you had
You made me smile, laugh and cry

You tell me you want to be free
You hit my heart with a rock and sunk it to the bottom of the sea
You can’t fight this evil feeling that took over your soul
You’re so confused and lost in this world
You won’t let me help you find your way
Now, losing you is the price…..I’ll…..pay

You made a mistake
And it caused my heart to break
Your news brought shivers down my spine
As I felt my heart separate by a crooked line
Please forgive me for not understanding
As I was focusing on just standing

You said I don’t deserve you
I said I do
You told me I deserve more than you can offer
I said I’ve already got all I need and I want no other
You feel awful for shattering my heart
I said don’t worry, let’s just see it as a fresh new start

I will forgive you
Because you have been true
With all my power I try, but this I can’t deny
Each and every time we part, I hide my pain with a smile
I try to appear as being fine
But deep within I don’t know how to accept that you’re no longer mine

Thank you for creating memories with me, I do forgive you my love
Always remember what we had and what we could have had
For I will love you and remember you till the end

I try to walk away and I stumble
Though I try to hide it, it’s clear
My world crumbles when you are not near”

Thanks Ashley, I’m glad you enjoyed it, I really allowed my heart to write this one, and I actually re-read it often because it has the same effect on me like it does for you. I’m sorry it’s been something you’ve been dealing with for 6 months, that’s really tough on the heart. Every time your heart is about to frown, try ur best and flip it, make yourself smile, it’s hard but eventually the more you do it the easier it gets, and you’ll amaze yourself at how much a smile can help you feel better internally =))

Below is what I think you should express, because someone as self-righteous as the person who left you, shouldn’t be taken seriously. You have much more need to focus in your future and life. Don’t be held up by a bus stop.

Acceptance and appreciation is not for granted

You don’t deserve the further what I have prepared

Forgive is not as easy as forget
Love is much easier than to hate
My future lies with J and it will always be true”

Wow, I really appreciate you “my readers”, more than you guys can imagine!

Michael, thank you for your kind thoughts, you are right in lots of ways. A broken heart is one of the hardest things to overcome, Love comes so easily, it sneaks up on us and takes over our mind and heart…but yet, when it’s ready to leave, it’s one of the hardest things to ever let go. I’m focusing on my son Jayden, he will always be the love of my life…I don’t look at the fact that my heart has been broken 3 times in my life so far, but I do look at the fact that I was able to find LOVE 3 times =) Just thinking about this puts a smile on my face. Some day to come, someone will find me and love me as much as I love him. I have to be optimistic =)

The places where we are broken , is where light enters us…I know it sounds contradictory , but , the only way to heal , the pain , is to let yourself love again ; There is so much beauty in you , so much love—it would be a crime for you NOT to ))))))))))))))) Your best love , your best life , is still waiting for you. Let your heart open ( when you are ready ) the pain WILL go away—most of it , anyway ))—and the light & love that wait for you , will be worth the effort.
